Pots

My junior year of high school I took a ceramics class for both semesters, one of the many art classes I took at school over the years. Although a lot of projects that I made and liked are displayed in the living room right now I must admit that I did not enjoy ceramics. Might have to do with the constant dirt under my nails and the fact that it took 10 minutes everyday to clean up. Anyways, while at Steins Gardens and Gifts with my Grandmother the other day, I couldn't help but notice all the beautiful pottery and plant holders. I pondered all the work it took to craft such beautiful pieces and still have the heart to make another piece time and time again. (After about the third week I was over the idea of making cool sculptures out of clay.) I will agree that the class thought me a lot about patience and taking pride in my work. After finishing my Princess Tiana sculptures that took two months to make, I was more then delighted when my teacher put her on display for the whole school to see. ( Yea Me!!)

I give credit were credit is do and I give a round of applause to the artist that make pottery and work with clay. Your craft is one of a kind and a skill like no other.
