Yesterday I drove to lake. It was a in the moment "lets see where this takes me" kind of drive. I ended up at this beautiful park that i remember coming to as a child. I parked my car and decided to stay for a while and I'm really glad I did. Lake Michigan is literally 20 minutes away from my house and yet I never seem to visit. After yesterday I know that I will make it back at least two more times before summer ends, hopefully this weekend. I had a very peaceful time dipping my feet in the water (i wasn't dressed to swim) and taking pictures of my surroundings. I do believe that beach day picnic is in my near future.
